Other Events and Activities

There are always events and activities happening on campus, such as festivals, concerts, dances, plays, movies, lectures, and seminars. There are several movie theaters in Hilo as well. There are also major events held on the Big Island every year, such as the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival, the Hilo Ho’olaulea (outdoor concert and festival) and the Ironman Triathlon World Championship.
