ISA Trips and Activities

The International Student Association (ISA) also organizes trips and activities throughout the year. ISA has offered the following in the past:

  • Zip Lining
  • Whale Watching
  • Waipi’o Valley Trip
  • Submarine Trip in Kona
  • Hike to view the lava flow

ISA sponsors a big Welcome Party at the beginning of the school year. This annual party, held at the swimming pool on campus, is a great event to get to know other students, eat some good food, and relax after orientation!

Throughout the year, you will also be able to participate in other ISA activities. Every year ISA organizes a major event on campus called International Nights. Students from around the world perform a song or dance from their home country in the Performing Arts Center. It is a very popular event that sells out every year. Each year, we celebrate United Nations Day with a large event on campus in October. ISA also organizes community service projects to help our local community that is so welcoming and supportive of international students. And you can get involved in special events put on by ISA to raise awareness about global social justice issues such as poverty, hunger and human trafficking and to celebrate United Nations Day.
