The UH Hilo International Student Association (ISA) is a club on campus. All international students are members of ISA. American students also often join the club because they are interested in international events and meeting students from around the world. Even UH Hilo faculty and staff and people in the Hilo community can join the club.

ISA aims to promote friendships that cross borders and promote intercultural awareness and understanding on campus. The diversity of UH Hilo provides a great opportunity for students to share and appreciate many cultures. The three goals of ISA are to unite, serve, and educate.
